Automatic Triple Phase-Shift Modulation for DAB Converter With Minimized Power Loss

Currently, triple phase-shift (TPS) modulation has attracted more and attention of researchers as an advanced strategy for dual active bridge converter (DAB). Since it three degrees freedom, can realize better performance both in soft switching ranges power efficiency. However, how to choose these freedom optimal efficiency DAB becomes a concern researchers. Generally, there exist two difficulties apply efficiency-oriented TPS modulation. The first difficulty lies the analysis process which main task is figure out relationships between parameters loss. bring deduction process, suffers from high computational burden low accuracy. Additionally, second real-time realization If look-up table applied store optimized parameters, highly likely that its discrete nature will result unsatisfactory performance. Therefore, this article proposes automatic (ATPS) approach, utilizes neural network, particle swarm optimization, fuzzy inference system, respectively, stages. proposed ATPS able mitigate labor with fashion. Finally, been validated 1-kW hardware experiments.
